Fabulous deputy editor Pearlman joins Elle

By Andrew Pugh

Fabulous deputy editor Natasha Pearlman is leaving The Sun to take up the same role at Elle.

Pearlman helped oversee a team of 30 journalists at the magazine and played a key role in its recent redesign and the development of new digital products.

She was previously features editor at the News of the World and associate editor and commissioning editor on the Daily Mail’s Femail section.

Pearlman replaces Jennifer Dickinson, who is now the acting editor at Hearst Magazines’ sister title Harper’s Bazaar.

Candy said: ‘I am very excited to be appointing such an experienced journalist with a deep understanding of the luxury and commercial fashion and beauty market place. Natasha joins Elle at an exciting time as we embrace further digital innovation and a more reader focussed luxury magazine.

‘Natasha has an excellent understanding of glossy magazines and an impressive track record on improving and innovating editorial products. She is highly respected and passionate about fashion.”
