Concerns have been raised about the fate of an exiled Armenian journalist living in the UK who has been deported.
Jina Khachtryan had worked in TV for H1, Channel 2 and Mairakakhok TV, as well as for the newspapers Aravot and Yerkerot Al.
According to the Exiled Journalists Network, she fled to the UK in September 2003 after exposing electoral fraud.
Spokesman Forward Maisokwadz said: "Jina is worried about her safety because publicity about her deportation has been picked up newspapers in Armenia."
EJN is also campaigning against the deportation of Mourad Hadjih, a journalist from Algeria, who was "captured" by immigration officials when he went to report as usual at Becket House enforcement office in London, and later released.
He is expected to face a new deportation.
