Emap has appointed Gary Broughton to the newly created role of digital director, FHM International, as it confirmed two launches of the title in Bulgaria and Serbia later this year.
Broughton previously held the position of interactive director of fhm.com and has overseen the website relaunch.
There are now 30 international editions of FHM and the brand has expanded from its original magazine to offering mobile, internet, TV, email and mobile TV content.
The magazine lost almost a quarter of its circulation, down 24.9 per cent to 420,688 in the last ABCs, but has since revamped under editor Ross Brown to include "less giggles, more laughs" and is aimed at 25-26 year-olds with a shift in tone to mark it out from the weeklies, Nuts and Zoo.
FHM Bulgaria will be the first title published by Independent Publishing Group. FHM Serbia is a joint venture with Color–Video Top, which also publish FHM Slovenia and FHM Croatia.
