CosmoGIRL! has expanded its editorial team following its May redesign and move to “handbag” size, writes Ruth Addicott.
Dan Cleeve, senior writer on Top of The Pops, has been appointed celebrity editor, taking over from James Williams, who has moved to Glamour.
Kirsty Francis has joined CosmoGIRL! as a senior designer from Heat magazine and Zo’ Smith, former senior sub-editor on She magazine, will take up the post of deputy chief sub.
Bella Binns has filled the newly created position of fashion assistant and Bella Battle, previously with Country Living, has become editorial assistant.
There have also been a series of promotions . Features editor Miranda Eason has stepped up to become associate editor, senior designer Sabina Cotton has become art editor and writer Susanna Wood has become senior writer. Sarah Biggs, previously fashion and beauty assistant, becomes assistant beauty editor, while editorial assistant/junior writer Diane Leeming has been made a writer.¼
