Following the success of a free regional food magazine launched in Devon last year, a title is being launched for Cornwall, writes Sarah Lagan.
The magazine, which will concentrate solely on local produce and cuisine, has had the endorsement of Cornish chef Rick Stein.
Initially 15,000 magazines will be distributed. Existing staff at the Devon title will contribute to the new magazine as well as a number of local freelance writers including Barbara Baker who contributes to BBC Good Food Magazine and Delicious wine editor Susy Atkin.
Editor Jo Rees, who also edits the Devon title, believes the magazines are the first in the country focusing on local food. She said: “We will go to the local producers and find top quality ingredients and products.”
