Campaign Middle East to relaunch under new publisher

By Rachael

Britain’s trade magazine for the advertising industry, Campaign, is set to relaunch a Middle East edition in October.

The magazine will be launched by Motivate Publishing under licence from Haymarket Media Group, which publishes the UK edition.

Group managing director of Haymarket Media Group, Eric Verdon-Roe, said: ‘It is one of the few parts of the world which is more or less unaffected by global cut-backs in advertising budgets and Campaign will be an essential ingredient of this growing market”

The magazine originally launched in the Middle East in 2005, edited by Media Week editor Tim Burrowes and published by IITP, but the publishing of the title was cancelled suddenly in February 2007, along with a related awards ceremony due to take place.
