CMPi’s music industry trade title, Music Week, has posted its first set of officially audited traffic figures for its website, Musicweek.com.
The site, which relaunched in September 2008 and is partly behind a subsciption barrier, recorded 63,904 unique users in October according to its debut ABCe audit.
Music Week digital content manager Tim Frost said: “We have seen a massive increase in traffic to the site over the past year and decided to ask ABCe for the official number.
“We were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. However, we will be regularly asking the company for the audited numbers and I expect to see figures going up.”
