18 years of Chat

By Press Gazette

Chat is celebrating its 18th birthday next week with a special souvenir issue.

It has more than £50,000 in prizes, including a jackpot of £18,000 to the reader who puts the special Chat poster in their window and has it spotted by one of the Chat snoopers scouring the country.

Outgoing editor Paul Merrill said: “Chat’s always been a magazine that knows how to hitch up its skirt and party, so we knew we had to celebrate our 18th in style. We’re expecting our army of 1.5 million readers to put our birthday poster up in their windows to be in with a chance of scooping our £18,000 jackpot. “We may have reached 18, but we’re definitely not planning to behave more responsibly!”
